Book Review: ‘Tongue in Chic’ by Kirstie Clements

This is the second novel by the author of ‘The Vogue Factor’ (which I reviewed here). It’s an easy read packed with juicy tales from the glossy world of high-end women’s magazines. The author notes that the stories are fictional although stem from a 25-year career in the industry. I thought this was like a supplement to the memoir – an additional book for (exaggerated versions of) her experiences which she touched upon in the memoir.

Here are some of the characters (beautiful illustrations by Megan Hess):

You will find this very interesting and witty if you are a girly-girl who likes magazines and fashion but has a a healthy, cynical view for it all. It’s the perfect book to take to the beach over the summer holidays. Buy it now from here.
