Old snaps from Italy in 2018

I recently opened my personal laptop after about a year of not using it at all.  I found some old pictures from our trip to Italy in September 2018, which took me back to a different time.  Literally a different time, before the coronavirus.  Anyway, I thought it would be nice to share some of these pics.

Here are some snaps from our hotel balcony in Positano where we spent many afternoons reading in the sun…

And here are some snaps from Ravello, which easily topped Positano because of its beautiful views, lovely old buildings and minimal numbers of tourists in the summer season.

On one of our last days, we woke up at about 6.30am and wandered around Rome to capture its beauty without the summertime crowds.

I wonder when we will be able to travel next.  And if so, where we would go first? The destinations will be endless again one day, once everything stabilizes.  But for now, I’m happy to be at home.
