It’s hard to believe that we have been WFH since March. It was hot and humid, and the beginning of autumn. Now it’s winter, with cold and rainy days in between warm, sunny days with 16 degree highs. We adapted to the new routine, and are still taking each day at a time, trying to appreciate the little moments.

Work eased a little over the last couple of months, allowing more time for exercise and reading. I felt very weak in June, so I pushed myself to walk almost every day in July and do a few Pilates and strength classes (Lottie Murphy and Melissa Wood Health for Pilates, and the Nike Fitness app for strength classes). I’m not as fit or strong as I was in March at the start of quarantine. But I’m definitely feeling better than I did in June. More energetic and positive. It’s amazing what a simple 20 minute walk in the sun can do for my mental and physical wellbeing.

We started heading out to cafes recently, although with caution. We also started ordering takeaway, which has been nice. I love to cook, but it’s good to take a break every so often too.

Here are some snaps from the last few months.
